Hanky Edging #5 - Completed
It all began here. Then progressed to here and today I am showing you the completed hanky edging. This hanky was given to me by Diana of Lace-lovin' Librarian from this post. Did you see how many hankies she gave away. Thanks so much Diana. You have been so generous.
I hope I did the beautiful handkerchief some justice with this Mary Konior's edging pattern called Josephine. I really wanted the Josephine knots to complement the embroidery around the yellow bouquet.

ReplyDeleteThis edging is so perfectly chosen and even MORE perfectly suited to this handkerchief. Well done, well done!
ReplyDeleteIt is breathtaking when an edging so neatly captures the essence of the item which it embellishes. I would expect to see this handkerchief used in the BBC series "Downton Abbey."
It's delicate and lovely!

The edging you chose is perfect! I need to get back to hankies... I promised one for a New Year's Eve wedding, and time is closing in. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat hanky will you edge next? : )
Your tatting and that edging compliment that hanky so beautifully! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully tatted, I adore the Josephine knots.
