Japanese Motif Pattern 9
This pattern involves intertwined double picots. Can you tell which motif I tatted and which one is the photo in the Tatting book? I bet you can. The book is Tatting Lace ( ISBN 978-4-02-190833) and the pattern is on pages 9 and 40. It is the blue book from this post. I used Lizbeth Size 40 Col 625 Plum.

I think yours is pink cause, I think the book has the white one otherwise I can't tell the difference. Also I am not at home and cant run to the book😀
ReplyDeleteOh my, the motifs are so similar but I'm guessing the red one is yours - especially since you mentioned which color you used :)
ReplyDeleteExquisite!
Really fabulous!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour photo is deceptive! ;)
Those intertwined double picots came to my rescue in my doily earlier this year 😄
ReplyDeleteWhichever I choose, both look beautiful!
Lovely! I'm guessing the red is yours. I don't remember any red motifs in that book.
ReplyDeleteI'm also guessing the red one. So nice to see your neat tatting, as usual! I don't think I would have noticed the intertwined double picots!
ReplyDeleteYes! The white one is from the book. Plum is what I tatted.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful motif and I love the one you tatted
ReplyDeletemy guess is you used the red fiber - the ones in the book are tatted in white or ecru fiber. Job well done.
