I have tatted a few more rounds.

I love how this colour looks but the photo is not 

doing it justice.

Heart O' Daisies

Three daisies were tatted first, then the bottom part of the heart frame followed by the heart border. This heart pattern is found in Teri Dusenbury's book Tatting Hearts. I love its name and how it looks in this thread Altin Basak Size 50 Col. 328. Have you tatted this pattern? 

More Sashka Bracelets

After you wear one of these, 

you will want every colour that catches your eye.

But not all are mine.

I did get some as gifts to friends,

but I am keeping this rose gold one.

I am into green threads these days. This green is Lizbeth Size 40 Col. 681 Pistachio Green Light. The pattern is from Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer by Lee Hye-oon. Many more rounds to go.

This is tatted in Lizbeth Size 20 Col. 688 Seagreen Dark with the larger glass drop. See the size comparison below.

Ice Drop #7

This one is tatted in Lizbeth Size 20 Col. 165 Grape Splash with DB 252.

Ice Drop #6

This is tatted in Lizbeth Size 20 Col. 604 Black with gray Delica beads DB 252. This measures about 3 inches in length. The glass drop is blue although the colour is not so evident in the photo.

Happy Valentines

Margaret posted tatted hearts earlier and that reminded me of tatting some hearts for Valentines. This is one is called Gypsy Heart on page 23 of Tatting Hearts by Teri Dusenbury. I used Flora Size 20 threads in 3 colours - Col. 211, 224 & 234.

Ice Drop #5

I used Milford Satin Perle Size 5 thread in Ombre Red. The glass drop is 3cm across. Final measurements is 7.5 by 15cm.




Size comparison between Ice Drop 3, 4 and 5. Am I done? Perhaps not.

Ice Drop #4

The black thread is the same Japanese Size 20 thread as Ice drop #1. I found some large glass drops roughly 3cm across. You can modify Diane's pattern to fit your glass drop. The first round of 6 rings or the base, should fit the diameter of your glass drop. I was trying to make a less feminine Ice Drop to hang on AAA's car rear view mirror. This one measures 6 by 11cm.

Pandora Bracelet of the Week 24

The main focal charm here is the artist palette pendant. Left murano is the Shoreline Sea and on the right is the Pink Butterfly Kisses. The two clips are the Dainty Bow. Also to the left of the Shoreline Sea Murano is the Abundance of Love charm. To the right of the Butterfly Kisses Murano, is the Dazzling Daisy charm. The bracelet is the Fancy Purple CZ Moments Silver with Signature Clasp.

After Lunch Drinks

This cool beauty was made with the blue pea flowers and coconut. Food at this vegetarian restaurant was also good. I especially liked the blue flower tofu with black truffle wild rice. I did not get a photo of that.

Spearmint tea which is great for digestion.

Third Ice Drop

I made this one with Lizbeth Size 20 Col.607 Charcoal Medium. I used some grey Delica beads (#252). This one measures 4 by 8.5cm. 

Second Ice Drop

I used Lizbeth Size 20 Col. 694 Harvest Orange Medium and added some blue Delica beads. No picots.



Here is a photo to compare the size. The glass drop is roughly about 2cm across. The white ice drop is 6 by 10cm and the orange one is 4 by 7cm. Tell me which you prefer?

This year I decided to go with these gold CNY cards.

Most people send e-cards these days but I think for some, 

a handwritten one is still well received.

Pandora Bracelet of the Week 23

In the latest Pandora Valentine's Day 2019 collection, I decided on 3 items which are all shown here:  Moments Silver Bracelet, Pandora Shine Heart, Limited Edition Arrow of Love dangle charm and the Gate of Love dangle charm. I am also using the Icon of Nature charm which was a Christmas gift from my sister.
