If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often.
I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.
Wonderful colors!! :) Looks like a great start! :)
Oh this is beautiful love it! the tatting is perfect!
It's looking great so far! Am I correct that Round 2 is all split rings. The first split ring joins (with a Lark's Head join) to Round 1 while tatting the first half of the ring (the flipped stitches), and the next two split rings have thrown-off rings on the 'unflipped' stitches, which is the second half of the ring.I have just practiced the technique (thanks to Jane Eborall's tutorial) and am amazed that it's even possible! Jane M has added all the modern tricks to create this amazing doily!
Hi Kathy, No, I did not use the lark's head join so there is a blip in mine. It is an amazing pattern from Jane McLelland.
You must have used a very good lens to take this picture. The sky is totally IN focus and the sun is sllightly out. Wow! I like the tension in your chains.
I used my phone camera and it was not intentional that the sun is out of focus. It was probably not lying flat. Thanks Tally Tatty.
Thank you God's Kid, Madtatter80 and Margaret. Glad you are enjoying our progress on this doily by Jane.
Really love those colors
