Patchwork Tatting - Berlin
I do not like how this is looking in variegated thread so I may have to do this again in a solid colour thread. This one is tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 in Pink Blossoms (#176). Not happy with the shape and size of the block tatting either. Another motif that is smaller than the rest which is only 2.5 inches across.

ReplyDeleteSometimes a variegated thread either doesn't have enough colors or the variegation is too long/short. So disappointing when that happens. I think adding long, woven picots to the middle rings would help the motif look even more windmill-like.
