Patchwork Tatting - Berlin
I do not like how this is looking in variegated thread so I may have to do this again in a solid colour thread. This one is tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 in Pink Blossoms (#176). Not happy with the shape and size of the block tatting either. Another motif that is smaller than the rest which is only 2.5 inches across.
The colour of the thread is pretty but I have to agree with you, I don't think it was quite right with this motif. Hope you don't mind me saying so. Margaret
Sometimes a variegated thread either doesn't have enough colors or the variegation is too long/short. So disappointing when that happens. I think adding long, woven picots to the middle rings would help the motif look even more windmill-like.
It looks rather interesting! :)

I agree. Solid.
