Annamaria

 
I had to follow Fox and tat this too. I love how this turned out. The pattern was fun to tat and the shape of this is perfect that you need not have to block it. This is tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 in Red Burst (#147). The pattern is from Iris Niebach in her book - 'Tatted Doilies'. Annamaria is a variation of Annarita and Annalisa, which is found on the cover of the book. Of the three, this is my favourite. Thank you Iris for all your lovely patterns in this book.

    lovely! I really like how the color pools: darker inside the points on one side of the doily, lighter on the other side. Cool!
    BTW I know HAVE to get this book.

    Isn’t it amazing how colour changes everything! This is lovely and looks like a different design as the variegated thread draws the eye to different places than does the single colour. I love this pattern.
