It is very colourful. I have not used so many different colours in one doily before. After blocking the 'green vine' round flattened out nicely. Tatted in one colour would give this doily a very different look as in the pattern booklet - 'Snowflake in a Circle Doily' from the Workbasket May 1956 issue. Thank you Sheila.
Hello Wendy. your snowflake in a circle all in one color is very pretty... Love the tatted Flamingoes, pretty neat. I have something to show you on my blog. Please come and visit. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteWow, fantastic work. I have to admit I wasn't keen on your doily when you began it, but now it looks absolutely right.
ReplyDeleteYou doily is so amazing!!! I love it with all the different colors!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is colorful.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like it!!!
I'll be looking at doily patterns in a much different light now.
Enjoy the finished creation.

Beautiful tatting! So many rings! I don't know if my wrists could handle one this size, but I'd love to try doing a doily in colors, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I have never used many colours in one doily I usually used variegated thread, but yours has given me ideas for the future.
