Workbasket Doily WIP 5
I am tatting the last round of this doily. So far it looks like this. Is it too colourful?
Round 8 is Lizbeth Size 40 in Lilac Dk (#641) and Round 9 is Lizbeth Size 40 in Red Burst (#147). The rings in Round 9 seem too small, as not in the correct scale but it adds some interest. Will block and take a photo to show you in a few days time.
On another note, I think I finally got the interlocking rings.

Congratulations on getting your interlocking rings!! :)
Hello Wendy. Your tatting always looks great to me. It also looks very complicated. I am happy you like your pressies. Hugs JudyReplyDelete
I think the doily looks great! And congrats on conquering the rings. Now you have so much more you can do ;)ReplyDelete
Look forward to seeing the completed doily. Your interlocking rings look good. I got them to turn out and then the next set I messed up so am going at them again. Karen in ORReplyDelete
Loving the colours!ReplyDelete
Envious as all get out about your rings!
Fox : )
I was definitely pleased to see your rings! They look great! Some tatters are not quite managing them, and I only wish I could do a video, but that's not possible. Your rings look just the right size. Some tatters' rings look smaller and I'm wondering if they are tatting more tightly than I do, and i suggested they do 12-12. Thanks so much for showing these!ReplyDelete
And your doily is beautiful, but looks like a lot of work! Of course, you never shy away from a challenge!
I think the colours are just marvellous it is a really stunning doily!ReplyDelete
