Love in a Mist (MK#61)
This Mary Konior pattern comes in two sizes - Place Mat and Glass Mat. This is neither as it is one row short of being a glass mat. I have to stop here as I may not have enough thread to complete the next round. It is pretty, isn't it? Or do you prefer it like this?
Do I have to choose? I like them both!
ReplyDeleteThey're both good, but I think I like the bigger version best. I like the contrast between the more solid centre and the airy outer rows.
ReplyDeleteI like this one. Very pretty!

I like it so far--definitely curious to see how it looks finished! What exactly is a glass mat?
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and it does not matter if its one row short, it looks lovely as it is.

It's lovely. I like it with the netting rounds. It's quite lacy that way.
ReplyDeletePiękna! Pozdrawiam :)
ReplyDeleteThe center medallion is nice by it self, but I like the overall look of this mat. You do lose the look of the center in the mignon stitch rows, but I do think it works well like this. I just wouldn't want to have to block this each time I washed it.
ReplyDeleteI love this one! The colourway is very interesting.
