Gift from Gian
This arrived for Umi the week before. She was about to be brought home from the animal clinic. What a lovely thought from Gian and Fox. We thank you. The colour is gorgeous. I will use it to tat Umi something beautiful.
It's been a week and I was hoping to see Umi today. According to Chinese custom, the dead will come home to visit on the 7th day. Maybe Tsuru will see her. I call Umi's name aloud and Tsuru will look around for her. Am I sending chills down your spine?

Hello Wendy, I am sooooooooooooooooo sorry to hear that Umi has passed away. I know how much you loved your kitten. I am sure that Tsuru will missed her allot too. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteFox and Gian are so sweet and thoughtful. Tsuru will enjoy the tatted item from this lovely HDT I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteYes. I do hope you see her. I am sure Tsuru will.
ReplyDeleteFox : )
I hope she does visit you today, I know Haie who died nearly ten years ago comes to see us sometimes, how do I know, well I know when I left for work the settee was flat when I came home there was a dent in the chair and a white feather laying on the settee. No one could get in, they say when someone comes back to visit they leave a white feather.
ReplyDeleteHaie was my dog a belgium Griffon, a month later mothers dog died, she went back to the kennels to get another dog and she came home with two sisters they were Haies last litter, gussie and Gertie, gussie died last June, Gertie has a foster mum now as mother can't look after herself anymore. When Gertie dies the ashes will come back to me and I will put both of them in the garden as near to Haie as I can,
Margaret
Gian really is a gentlecat!

Thank you all for your comments. Losing a pet is bad enough. It makes me think of parents who lose their children unexpectedly. It must be very painful.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, thank you for sharing your story. I hope all is well with your mom.
Gian is definitely a gentlecat and a handsome one too.
Fox, you raised a gentlecat.
