I bought these handmade polymer clay buttons from Tessa Ann in July. This set is called Spring Chickity. I bought 2 other sets which have not been used yet. When I do, I will post them. This is also my little niece.
I was contemplating the magnolia (pattern by Nancy Tracy of Be-stitched) or the monkey (pattern fron Dianna Stevens' Animal Bookmarks - A Tatted Zoo) for this T-shirt but decided on the buttons since she is getting other pieces with tatting already.
Love the buttons!
ReplyDeleteI also like the flower and monkey. I recently tried making the magnolia but seem to be having trouble.
I can't quite understand the diagram though it looks SOO simple!
Did you run in to difficulties the first time you tatted it?
The buttons are so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the magnolia-the colors are awesome!
And the monkey is so adorable!!! :)
Hello Wendy. The shirt with the buttons are pretty neat. I truly love that Monkey and his colors are wonderful. Very cool. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. I will reserve this magnolia and monkey for another time.
ReplyDeleteYes Lily, the magnolia is a little tricky the first time you tat it. It depends on how you join the last chain of each petal to the starting point and then make the Ch 6. In my first magnolia, some chains were in front and some were at the back. Don't worry, the pattern is quite forgiving.
Cute dress and the monkey is sweet love the magnolia!
ReplyDeleteOh my! You have officially become an enabler of my button addiction! I went to her site and drooled but I'm waiting to order. There are two in particular that I LOVE!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of glue do you use to attach the tatting to fabric?
