Frangipanni

It was outside a train station and
I was waiting for a ride when it started to drizzle.
The pinkish red flowers were brightly calling out to me to capture its beauty.
And so I did.

  2. Beautiful flowers, I can smell the perfume from here, I did try and grow a plant but I did find it hard, your climate is far better for it than inside my home.

    1. It may have needed the full tropical sunshine. I wish I could grow Wisteria here, maybe in the Garden Dome.

  3. You seem to have made the move rather effortlessly! I know cats don't like change, so it will take her a while.

Many years ago I 'babysat' my neighbor's cat while her owner went on vacation for three weeks. It seemed more convenient for me to have the cat come to my home (a somewhat significant walking distance away) than for me to go to the neighbor's house every day. But the cat took at least two weeks to settle down, and she loved 'hiding' from me, especially under the bed. If she wasn't under the bed, she enjoyed watching me run around trying to find her. She was allowed outdoors by the neighbor (into a very woodsy 'paradise' for her), but I couldn't chance letting her go outside because I knew I'd never find her again! She wasn't happy being cooped up! She did finally settle down and was quite friendly and we kind of bonded. But after that experience, I did let her stay in her own home and I made the daily trip to feed and visit her. It was easier on both of us!

  4. Thank you Kathy. Tsuru has claimed one room as hers. She has found her favorite places to lounge.
