Elizabeth Doily 3 Completed (LHO 9)
I have no choice but to stop tatting here, short of one row to completion. I did not realize how much thread I needed for this pattern. I used thread that I have no option to repurchase and I used up the ball. The only other colour I have in this thread is white but it would look strange. So it is completed. It ruffles a little and the rings of the 'spokes' are elongated from the blocking.
Tatted in Victor cotton thread #40 in cream, it measures 15 inches across. The pattern is from Lee Hye-oon's book Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer on page 19.
