It is done.
Very colourful.
It did not turn out as I imagined but it is definitely different.
I may tat it again in one colour and in size 40.
This was tatted in Lizbeth Size 20 in 3 colours: Azalea Medium, Coral Orange Medium and Rainbow Splash (#620, #702, #184).
The pattern can be found here.
Thank you so much for the pattern.
I love it ๐❤๐it makes you happy, nice in bright colors too, and I can see if you do it again in one color it would totally change the look too๐ฆ
ReplyDeleteWow, it's spectacular!
ReplyDeletesplendido lavoro
ReplyDeleteI love your bright and colorful doily!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm speechless! This is outstanding, and the Rainbow Splash makes it so festive! It seems to look identical to the original pattern, so I'm not sure why you think it's 'different'. Your tatting is impeccable, as usual! I can't imagine making one of these, let alone two!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such detailed instructions, complete with photos of each step along the way! The translation is helpful but I'm not quite comprehending some of the words. But it's nice that the translation does give some idea of how it's constructed.
How in the world did she do the drawings? They are works of art in themselves! I could handle tatting the first rounds, of course, but when it goes flying off, I'm afraid I couldn't control it. Thank you for taking us into another tatting universe! And kudos to the designer and her generosity in sharing this unique pattern!
Lovely ! I can see a rangoli pattern in these cheerful colours :-)
ReplyDeleteFox has challenged me to tat this, I have the pattern but not the last row, I will start it as soon as I finish some test tatting
ReplyDeleteYours looks beautiful I hope I can do it justice and look as good as yours
