Swans

I remember tatting these swans in glitter thread. Yes they are here. I know I kept them somewhere but it is easier to tat them again than to go look for them. They will turn up someday when you are not looking for them.

I am running out of Perle cotton threads in bright colours. These animals look better in brighter colours for the kids. I hesitate to get new Perle cotton threads. I just have to use the Lizbeth instead. Should have started with Lizbeth and used them throughout.

The pattern is found in Animal Bookmarks - A Tatted Zoo by Dianna Stevens.

  1. They look fun, but you need one more to go with the Christmas song, the part that say's "Seven Swans a Swimming" :)

  2. I have a 'stash' of DMC pearl cotton (mostly size 5, some size 3) and would be happy to share with you. I will need to know size you are using, approximate number of skeins needed for a single motif, number of motifs you still plan to make, other project info you think I should know and your
    contact info.

    1. Thank you Randi for your generous offer. I used Perle cotton size 8. But I think I should be able to continue using Lizbeth and Flora size 20 threads. I do not know how many more animals I need to tat. You are so kind. Thank you!
