I looked hard for a pattern to tat. I went browsing into the Russian pattern book by Kurbatskaya and on page 78, I found an edging pattern for bread basket liner. It was those tiny rings in between the chains that fascinated me so I improvised the pattern into a coaster doily. Tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 Orange Crush Col. 183. How do you like it?
I like it, a bright cheerful colour and a pretty pattern, well done

ReplyDeleteAs usual, lots of interesting posts, including colorful city scenes, food, jewelry, and, of course, tatting. That pink fruit is certainly 'different'!
ReplyDeleteYou always show us patterns we might never see. I love the triangle shapes which give this a unique look. Lovely thread color, and beautiful tatting.

ReplyDeleteI like it very much. Those tiny rings ARE fascinating!
ReplyDeleteI love this. It's symmetrical, yet not completely concentric. It looks much like a Tesselation or Mandala.
ReplyDeleteThat looks really cool! I love the cross shape in the centre. I think I might have to go book shopping.
