Happy Hearts
I saw the Happy Hearts that Michelle tatted and wanted to try. The pattern is by Frivole. I thought I knew how to do Catherine Wheel joins but I was wrong. What I thought I knew, tatted on the right in Madder Tatter (HDT by Tat-ilicious) was not right. I finally watched Marilee's video and got it (left). Thank you all.

Looks like you've got that CWJ conquered too! How appropriate for the Ides of March!
ReplyDeleteThey both look very nice. And very pretty colors too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, for learning a new technique.
You certainly did! Well done!l

Well done, I can definitely see how you 'got' the join!
ReplyDeleteThere seems to always be something new to learn in Tat Land! I like them both, though.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely hearts

Great colors and pretty hearts!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that the Catherine Wheel join provides a non-scalloped chain; and although the heart on the right looks OK, the smooth line on the left gives that perfect 'heart' shape. I haven't quite mastered this join yet, but will practice it. Jane used it on her excellent pram.
