Pearl Tatted Bracelet
An example of pearl tatting using Lizbeth 40 Leafy Greens (#138) with charlotte beads size 11 (Col. 359). Matching the beads to the thread was fun. I usually buy colours I like and then try to match them later when I am about to start the piece. Just added a green crystal pearl as the bead and loop clasp.

Do you know I don't think I've ever used beads in pearl tatting? Maybe once in some picots and certainly not as extensively as you have here. The beads match so well that I did not even see the beads until I clicked on the pic and enlarged it!
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks like some work! I like the fancy design! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a good bookmark, or maybe edging? Either way, I like! I tried a version of your necklace the other day. Not as nice, had to use what I had on hand, but I know a niece who is going to love it! I'll post it up later today. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThis is very, very nice.

Hi Gina, I'm happy when I find a perfect match of thread to beads. The problem with this is that you need quite a stash and you have to through them each time.
ReplyDeleteHi God's Kid, It looks fancy but actually quite simple to tat. I was quite surprised on how it turned out.
Hi am I still me, I am so glad you tried it. I'm sure your niece will like it. It's simple and making it in different colour threads and beads would make it look very different too.
Hi Fox,
I was inspired by your tatting with beads and decided to bring out my beads too. So glad you like this.
Nice !!
ReplyDeleteI really love the colors of the thread. It looks so lovely with the beads attached. *o.o*
