Crooked Mile
MK#4 is a crooked mile with mistakes but I decided to continue tatting and make the mistakes part of the pattern. It is now my version of the Crooked Mile pattern by Mary Konior. This pattern is found on page 11 of 'Tatting with Visual Patterns'. I used the GT thread Size 20 in variegated red. Another tatted bookmark for a man.

ReplyDeleteNever tatted this pattern, but have always liked it - and I do have the book!
ReplyDeleteI like the way yours turned out and the thread you used.
Fox : )
I think it may have been Marty that said that a consistent mistake is not a mistake, but an original variation in the pattern, LOL!
ReplyDeletethe colour combo looks good. crooked is the way to go... LOL
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you all agreed. You see, I tatted 6-7 rings after the mistake when I found out and knowing this GT thread, I could not risk unpicking so I just continued on. I think Marty is right!
