Tatted variegated blue and black hummingbird

Instead of just the belly in a different colour, I made the tail in variegated blue too. However I think I much prefer it if the tail was black. It was a nice experiment, just to see how it looked. No beak again. I spent this weekend making three necklaces. I hope it will be worn with love.

    That is so cool. I like the tail in the variegated colors. Can you share the type of thread you are using? The colors are so pretty.

    Hi Annie. Glad you liked it. I used Anchor Perle Cotton 8multicolour #1345 called Blue Hawaii.

    Thanks for the info. I'm trying to make some pretty lacy motifs in crochet. I haven't tried perle cotton yet.

    Cotton Perle has a great variety of colours.
