Delica rose giveaway

This rose (2cm across) was woven using two different blue Delica beads with one Swarovski crystal pearl in the middle. I use these roses in my jewellery but your can use it for anything. An embellishment on your sewing project or as a centrepiece in a necklace, or bracelet or brooch. All up to your imagination. As what I did last month, I am giving this away. All you have to do is leave a comment on how you would use it before 19 July 2008 and I will do a draw on 20 July 2008. This is my fourth giveaway.

  1. Oh, how beautiful! I just finished tatting the little flower pattern in Yarnplayer's Winter Blend. I've got to post the picture. I think the colors would perfectly compliment this rose and make a gorgeous bracelet or pendant. Hope I win!

  2. What a lovely rose! I think I would use it on a pincushion or maybe a heart sachet.

  3. Beautiful design. I would use it on a CQ purse as an embellishment or perhaps to cover a closure.

  5. Wendy~ Your work is incredible! I love your tatting, but this woven bead rose is beautiful. I would make a pin out of it using some vintage lace and fabric. Please enter me in your giveaway.

  6. This is just a gorgeous piece. I love the Swarovski bead in the middle. I think I would use it for a ring or a hair piece & and add a pin back so I could use it for both!

  7. It's a lovely rose.
I'd tat a lacy backing for it and sew it to my "tatting" jacket where I wear my favorite pieces.
You're very generous to give it away.
Also, love the flower posted last week. And, I'm going to tat Mark's cat too. Love it in the variegated thread.
    All the best,
