If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often.
I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.
This turned out rather small measuring only 2.5 inches across in Altin Basak Size 50 Col. 3001. Very pretty with the twisted bare threads. Getting the the right length needed some attention.
You have guessed it. Pattern is from Barbara's book.
Your snowflake looks wonderful. This is one of the patterns that I just have not been able to make and have it look 'right.' Your tatting AND the color you used are both beautiful.
You have a talent for doing this kind of accurately spaced 'bare thread' work, and these are also twisted! Attractive little snowflake! It's always interesting to see your dedication to tatting several motifs from various designers so that we all can appreciate their ideas.
Beautiful, lovely pattern

ReplyDeleteInteresting, the twisted bare threads. The motif may be small, but it's pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I've tried that one with no success. The twisted threads never look right when I do them.
