I thought this was tatted using only two different colour threads but after studying the diagram (without reading the instructions), I realised I needed another colour. Something similar to the earlier Morimoto square flower. I think I am beginning to like it. This one is on page 89.
What makes making doilies had is seeing the completed one in your mind, or know the right moments to through in a color and then waiting to see what comes of it, both ways are fun and can change so quickly with each and every row!
