Dahlia (MK#60)


This is a pattern from Mary Konior from her book 'A Pattern Book of Tatting'. The threads are Finca Presencia Size 16 in three colours. The threads were a gift from Fox. I think it is quite pretty although in this photo the light green is almost indistinguishable from the white.

    On my monitor, the thread looks blue - which actually goes quite well with the green! It's a lovely piece.

    That is really nice.
    I like the areas of negative space. Depending on the background - where the doily is displayed - the green should show up and the negative spaces will make it look very different.

    I have the book but I don't remember that pattern, it's a lovely pattern must have a look and try it.
    It's snowing here where we are staying in Oxfordshire, home maybe cut off as by the news they had a lot of snow
    Can you send some warmth to melt the snow please

    This is one of my favorite threads. I love the feel of it as I work with it and it comes in some gorgeous colors. Beautiful doily.
