Quilt Progress - Blocks Completed
All 36 blocks are done. Each block measures 12.5 inches square. Sewing the blocks was a breeze after I sorted out the sewing machine and my bad memory. I laid out the blocks and re-arranged them to get a pleasing colour distribution. I wanted the quilt to be mainly black and white with accents of red but it ended up like this because I did not have enough black and white fabrics.

Your quilt top looks great! I love black in quilts - I think it's stunning with any other colors.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful. I've collected black and white fabric with the intent to do something with an accent of red. Have probably enough b&w for 4 or 5 quilts. It will look great when done.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! and this reminds me I need to finish piecing my son's quilt. :-(
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I haven't sewn much with black, but I'm thinking maybe I should. It's very striking!
ReplyDeleteI love it, I think it looks gorgeous,
