Queen Anne's Lace (MK#24)

This looks very lacy just like the flower. The plant does not grow here but I love how the flowers look. This pattern is so appropriately named, don't you think? This is tatted in DMC Perle Cotton 8 in Ecru.

  2. Very pretty. When I was in college, I lived in a dormitory named "Queen Anne's Hall". The dorms were named after Maryland counties at the University of Maryland. I used to answer the phone, "Queen Anne's Hall, Queen Anne speaking". So I'm very partial to this flower.

  7. Thanks Diane.

Hi Paula, the pattern is from Mary Konior's 'A Pattern Book of Tatting' on pg 82.

Hi Val, do you have a photo of it to show us? That would be great if you do.

  9. I loved Queen Anne's Lace ans I grew up surrounded by lots of it! It is so white and there is often a little drop of red near the centre, if I remember correctly, which one could always tat in!
Looks great in white - very realistic!
