If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often.
I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.
This looks very lacy just like the flower. The plant does not grow here but I love how the flowers look. This pattern is so appropriately named, don't you think? This is tatted in DMC Perle Cotton 8 in Ecru.
Very pretty. When I was in college, I lived in a dormitory named "Queen Anne's Hall". The dorms were named after Maryland counties at the University of Maryland. I used to answer the phone, "Queen Anne's Hall, Queen Anne speaking". So I'm very partial to this flower.
This is so very pretty!!! Can you please tell us which book it came from? I'm hoping it's either from the one I have or the one I have checked out from the guild library. Going to go and look now!
I loved Queen Anne's Lace ans I grew up surrounded by lots of it! It is so white and there is often a little drop of red near the centre, if I remember correctly, which one could always tat in! Looks great in white - very realistic! Fox : )
Beautifully tatted, wonder what it would look like in varig thread...sorry can't help it!

ReplyDeleteHi Paula, the pattern is from Mary Konior's 'A Pattern Book of Tatting' on pg 82.
Hi Val, do you have a photo of it to show us? That would be great if you do.
Our library doesn't have that book so I will see if a friend happens to have it. Thanks for the info!
