Chicken Salad for Lunch

This was lunch I made yesterday. Sliced chicken breast with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, orange slices and Romaine lettuce with Japanese onion dressing.

New Project

I have a new project in mind. The pattern is from Ha Mi-Kyoung's book 'Tatting lace with your life'. I may not use this particular flower but it was good practice. 

Ruellia

Isn't that pretty. The purple flowers are quite a sight. This was taken just outside a MRT station which I frequently visit.

Dahlia Doily 1 Version 3 Seacrest Green Completed

Yes, it is done. I contemplated using the variegated thread for the 'petals' but decided against it. This way, I could keep the centre the same and change the colour of the 'petals'.
The petals look unequal in size due to the angle of the camera. I was trying to avoid shadows using light from the window. The petals are actually equal in size.

Pandora Bracelet of the Week 2

From clasp clockwise: Primrose Silver Clip, Black Forget Me Not Onyx Charm, Black Flower Blossom Murano, Black Nautical Pave Lights Charm, Shimmering rose clip, Red Fizzle Murano, Infinite Love Spacer,  Red Pave Heart Charm, Infinite Love Spacer, Red Flower Blossoms Murano, Shimmering Rose Clip, Black Pave Heart Charm, Black Bubbles Murano, Openwork Enamel Flower Charm & Primrose Silver Clip.

The red and black flower blossom muranos may not be correctly named. If it is too old, it may not have a name. I got those and some others on Etsy. Others from Rue La La when they had international shipping. The silver barrel clasp bracelet was a promotional gift with purchase from our local Pandora store.

Ruby and Opal Bracelet v2

A couple of years back, I made an opal and ruby stretchy bracelet for my sister. I had beads left over and decided to make another with some silver accents. The rose, leaf and pinched silver beads are from Chiangmai. I think I will keep this for myself. The opal beads are not the best quality as there are black inclusions in every bead. The ruby beads are faceted but they are pink instead of red.

I still have beads leftover. Perhaps for another bracelet or earrings or even a necklace if paired with more hill tribe silver.

Dahlia Doily 1 Version 3 Seacrest Green

I wanted to see this colour variation. Round 1 tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 Col. 155 Ocean Sunset and Rounds 2 to 4 tatted in Col. 714 Seacrest Green. A few more rounds to go before it is completed. The pattern is from page 109 of Lee Hye-oon's book Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer.

New Episcia

This Episcia just flowered in my balcony garden. When I got this plant, it did not have any flowers but the pattern on the leaves was unlike what I already have. I did not expect a purple flower so I am very glad. Easy to grow but it needs a brighter area for flowers to form.

Pandora Bracelet Of The Week 1

This is my Pandora bangle this week. I recently got the Pandora Rose Dazzling Daisy, Pink Cherry Blossom Murano and the Daisy fairy silver charms from the Pandora sale. The other 3 gemstone charms are not Pandora. Also included are the Pandora Rose Dazzling Daisies Fixed Clips and the Dragonfly Meadow charm.
