Woven Labels Received

My custom labels from Dutch Label Shop arrived a few days ago. The labels were ready three days after I ordered but the tracking was pending and after 3 weeks, I was getting worried. It shipped from the Netherlands. But I need not have worried. My enquiry was answered very promptly and packaged arrived safely.

Dog Lanterns

These lanterns were made to decorate Chinatown for the Lunar New Year 2018. Now they dot the street market at Chinatown. These were spotted near the Buddha tooth relic temple. It was lighted but it was still too early in the evening to see clearly in this photo.

Niece's Bracelet

Matt Morganite beads paired with hill tribe silver beads and charms. This was made for my niece. A belated birthday gift.

Dahlia Doily 1 WIP1

I chose this pattern to tat from Lee Hye-oon's Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer. Many more rounds to go. I am using Lizbeth Size 40 Col. 664 in Ocean Teal Medium.

Nephew's Bracelet

I put together this for my nephew for his birthday. The centre bead is jade with two Celtic knot beads. I hope he likes it.

Annabelle Doily 1 WIP1

Round one tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 in Col.156 Juicy Watermelon. The clover is tatted with a mock ring at the base. I hope the thread colours will not take away from the pattern design. We will see after the next round is done. Another pattern from Lovely Tatting Doilies for Fall and Winter by Lee Hye-oon.

Large Clover Shuttles

I could not resist this. Large Clover shuttles in new colours. I was at the craft shop in Chinatown to get some crystal string for my stretchy bracelets. I have plenty of shuttles but mostly prefer to tat with the Sewmate and Clover shuttles. The Sewmate picks are sharper and thinner but these Clover ones are sharp too. Very handy when you need to unpick. The large ones are especially useful for bigger projects or when beads are required. What is your favourite shuttle?

Chrysoprase Silver Charm Bracelet

The chrysoprase used in this stretchy bracelet is described as matt lemon. I thought they were quite unusual. I added so tribe silver charms - rose blooms, rose buds, leaves, a dragonfly and pinched beads in between. This was the third and last bracelet made that weekend. Thank you for visiting.
