If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often. I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.

Anya v1 (LHO3)
I now realise that the pattern correction was actually for R13 not R3. See previous posts and the comments.
If you have Lee Hye-oon's book Lovely Tatting Doilies for Fall and Winter, please note this pattern correction before tatting.
I completed Round 14 and was tatting Round 15 before realising this. I did not want to cut off 2 rounds of tatting to correct it. So this version of Anya stops here. I may start a new one later, perhaps an ombre one as initially planned. Now I know exactly where to switch the colours. Happy Tatting!

It's wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful but maybe variegated, then rings one solid color, it is a ruff decision to make good luck!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I can't tell what might be wrong in R13, I actually really like this version. It would look nice in ombre too.
ReplyDeleteI am going to continue this for Anya Doily 2 and begin the ombre one for Anya Doily 3. Hye-oon clarified this for me. My mistake for not realising the pattern instructions were different for Anya Doily 2 & 3.
DeleteYou can actually continue to make Anya Doily 2 from here, with four more rounds to finish it. Please look at some difference between Anya Doily 2 and 3.
ReplyDeleteThank you and I am looking forward to seeing the finished work!
Thank you Hye-oon. I did not realize the pattern differences between Anya Doily 2 & 3.
DeleteBeautiful doily. Lovely pattern
ReplyDeleteInstructions for Anya Doily 2 and 3 are same until Round 12, and what you did until round 13 is for Anya Doily 2. So if you can restart from round 14, you can make Anya Doily 2 completed.
ReplyDeleteI just want to clarify...
My apologies. I understand what you are saying and will continue to finish this as Anya Doily 2.
