Orange Crush Coaster

I looked hard for a pattern to tat. I went browsing into the Russian pattern book by Kurbatskaya and on page 78, I found an edging pattern for bread basket liner. It was those tiny rings in between the chains that fascinated me so I improvised the pattern into a coaster doily. Tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 Orange Crush Col. 183. How do you like it?

  5. As usual, lots of interesting posts, including colorful city scenes, food, jewelry, and, of course, tatting. That pink fruit is certainly 'different'!

You always show us patterns we might never see. I love the triangle shapes which give this a unique look. Lovely thread color, and beautiful tatting.

  7. I love this. It's symmetrical, yet not completely concentric. It looks much like a Tesselation or Mandala.
