If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often.
I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.
I was wrong. The next round was not joining to the centrepiece yet. Since the last post, I have added 2 rounds. I still have 11 more motifs to add to. It is time consuming but it does look quite pretty.
That mignonette stitch would do me in! But it's such a beautiful example of 'pure' tatting! I applaud your patience and, of course, I always admire your expect tatting skills! I remember first seeing this incredible doily - test tatted by Sherry T (Celtic Dreamweaver)- on her website, and it is breathtaking. What a fantastic design by Ben, which was enhanced by Sherry's tatting it in color threads!
It's intriguing to see how many elements are done separately, then joined together later. Amazing!
It is beautiful to see such nice work and I really like this motif, and this is going to be bigger than I thought!
ReplyDeletePretty and very delicate!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good so far, lovely colour

This is soooo pretty. It seems difficult to get those single threads equal lengths, but they look so fine and delicate.
