Schwenke Hanky Edging
This pattern is by Susanne Schwenke on page 6 of her book Spitzen Kreationen. This time I used Altin Basak Size 50 #3001. I love the subtle blues in this one. The block tatting in this pattern gives the flower motif an interesting touch. It was quite fun to tat. I am a fan of Susanne Schwenke's patterns. Now to attach it to the hanky. I am not a fan of that.

The hanky will look stunning with that beautiful edging!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely colour thread, not sure about the block tatting, not a fan but the pattern looks lovely. I like hanky patterns I can attach as I go around, not a fan of sewing it on.

Another beautiful edging. Karen in OR
ReplyDeleteYour edging is very pretty! I'm not sure I'm ready for block tatting, and that's a lot of block tatting!
ReplyDeleteI love block tatting. I would do it anytime over clunies.
