Proud Beauty WIP
This is a good way to show the colour changes of a thread. This Lizbeth Size 20 thread is one of the first I bought. This colourway is called Paintbrush (#126).
The pattern is called Proud Beauty found in this Dover book - 'The Tatter's Treasure Chest' edited by Mary Carolyn Waldrep. Val gave me a 10% discount coupon from The Book Depository. Thanks Val.

I love the pattern and the thread looks lovely, one of the best patterns to see how any thread would work out.
ReplyDeleteHave left you a reply on my blog.
Margaret
Proud Beauty is definitely very beautiful. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteThat looks very nice!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've looked at this pattern. You have nice even chains. What is the size with #20 thread? Are you using the same thread color for the outer parts? Karen in OR
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret. Thank you Judy and God's Kid. Karen, Answers to your question in tmrw's post.
ReplyDeleteMy mind is boggled by the number of chains. I'm afraid I don't have as much patience as you do! And I also noticed your perfect tension! Wonderful colorful motif!
ReplyDeletePiękna serweta! Pozdrawiam, Ania :)))
