Errors in Tatting


What do you do with such a piece. You can obviously see where the mistakes are. Can you spot them both?

Here is how it is suppose to look. I hope it is correct this time although the bare threads connected to the centre should be shorter.

    Hmmm...as for what you can do with the first....what about on one of those crazy quilts so many people talk about. Or just something for a child. Just a couple of thoughts. :)

  5. That looks nice. I can see where you would need to be very specific about the length of the thread spaces.

  7. The gold one has perfect spacing of the threads and has a perfectly balanced shape. The red has an extra ring on the one side, but I had to study it. Can't find the other 'mistake'. I have difficulty with spacing like this, so I admire how the gold turned out!

  8. I think the thread spaces should be smaller than what I did. It would then look more compact.
