Errors in Tatting
What do you do with such a piece. You can obviously see where the mistakes are. Can you spot them both?
Here is how it is suppose to look. I hope it is correct this time although the bare threads connected to the centre should be shorter.
I like both!! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm...as for what you can do with the first....what about on one of those crazy quilts so many people talk about. Or just something for a child. Just a couple of thoughts. :)
I can sympathize. The first time I tat anything will result in disaster. But, your second one looks good!
ReplyDeleteWhat pattern is this? It is from a larger piece?

That looks nice. I can see where you would need to be very specific about the length of the thread spaces.
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern, and I love the red and black.
ReplyDeleteCould it be used as a pendant.

The gold one has perfect spacing of the threads and has a perfectly balanced shape. The red has an extra ring on the one side, but I had to study it. Can't find the other 'mistake'. I have difficulty with spacing like this, so I admire how the gold turned out!
ReplyDeleteI think the thread spaces should be smaller than what I did. It would then look more compact.
