This wonderful design is by Nancy Tracy and you can link to this free pattern on the Be-Stitched pattern page. It is labelled as 'Tatted Doily Row 5 Feb 2012' near the bottom of the page.
Mine is tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 threads in Violet Pink Dark (#635) and Raspberry Frappe (#157) and measures about 8 inches across.
Funny that you only notice mistakes when you are blocking the piece. I found one in the photo and I could not let it be and did correct it later. I love the negative spaces. It is rather flimsy so it has to lie flat on the table. I think I will tat this again, . . . soon.
Thank you Nancy for a lovely pattern.
Stunning work! Lovely colours you've used too.
ReplyDeleteThat is truly gorgeous!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely beautiful. I love the colors and the balance of positive/negative space.
ReplyDeleteOh my! That is. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThere appears to be something wrong with the link?

ReplyDeleteWell done, looks beautiful

Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI am like you, I scanned a piece, and on the computer monitor could see a bunch of dog hairs. Sigh. At least that was easy to fix. :-)
Wonderful, Wendy.
ReplyDeleteI might just have a go at this with the pastels you sent to me. I think that would work very well, don't you?
Fox : )
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece!
ReplyDeleteI always love patterns with negative space. To my eye, it shows the beauty of tatting much better than the cloying, claustrophobic feeling of patterns that are “over-filled”.
