Tatted Butterflies - Josie

This is Josie from Adelheid Dangela's Tatted Butterflies. This is the butterfly that appears on the cover of the book. It looks a little different in a variegated thread. I tatted this in Altin Basak's Size 50 #3002 which Typs Tatting sent me. It was the perfect colour for a butterfly.

  2. Oooh, I like it much better in a variegated thread. The block tatting looks like the color spots on a real butterfly.

  4. Thank you Typs Tatting, Miranda and God's Kid.

I was watching a documentary on monarch butterflies and was wondering if I could use Lizbeth's Zebra to tat the outer edge of block tatting with a variegated orange for the rest of the wings.
