1000th post

To celebrate my 1000th post, I am giving away three blinged shuttles and three tatted magnolias (about 2 inches across). The magnolia pattern is by Nancy Tracy of Be-stitched, just in case you would like to tat your own magnolias.

Just leave a comment here on how you will use this piece of tatting and I will use the random number generator to pick three names on 19 Nov 2010.

Using the randon number generator, the first name drawn wins the white magnolia with the darker pink shuttle, 2nd name drawn wins the variegated yellow magnolia with the white shuttle, and 3rd name drawn - the pink magnolia with the light pink shuttle. The back of the shuttle is also blinged but you will have to win the shuttle to have a peek.

  1. Who wouldn't win a flower, made by a real artist?? Well, the magnolia I would use as a corsage on my sweater or jacket, the shuttles, who knows, maybe they could transfer the skill of tatting, wouldn't that be nice?

  2. Don't enter me as I do not tat but I had to say how pretty your magnolias and the shuttles were. Also, CONGRATS on your 100th post!!!!

  4. Lovely work. I would use the three tatted Magnolias on a hat I am knitting for my Niece, I think that would be really cute. The shuttles are very pretty and would love the chance to add them to my meager collection of only two.
    Thanks.

  10. Your tatted magnolias are magnificent!! I would use one on a crazy quilt. I don't tat, although it is on my list of things to learn since I started crazy quilting. Your blog is very interesting, especially like the bits about Singapore. I was there several times in the 1970's and loved it.
