If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often. I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.

Maybe I've got dogs on the mind, but that pattern looks so much like a one dog biscuit resting on another! I would love to know the title of the book with that pattern. My canine-loving family would love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving the information at my blog so I couldn't miss it. I'm so excited! I just placed an order for that book Monday! When I showed my daughter the motifs you tatted, she suggested using two colors to make the 'dog biscuit' more obvious. I'm thinking Christmas tree ornaments. Ideas are popping. I'd better write these down since I'm swamped with other projects at the moment. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean. The bone shape dog biscuit. I would love to see it, when you're done. I will post mine when I finish too. It is going to be different shades of green.
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about this all morning and I raced through all the Mary Konior books, sure it was in there, as I have been purusing her patterns lately. But no cigar!
ReplyDeleteThen I had an ah-ha moment when I noticed the page border and recognized it. I located the pattern on page 53!
I had looked at this one before but not realized what you did: there are motifs there! Great idea! One to copy!
Fox : )
Fox, I gave you a hint a few days ago. I hope you got distracted lookking through Mary's books. It was Eliz who noticed the dog biscuits. Isn't that cute!
ReplyDeletesorry I'm lost where's the pattern from?
ReplyDeleteHi cre8ivgrl,
ReplyDeleteIt's from Lyn Morton's book Tatting Patterns on page 52.
