Are you wondering about the title. It is the name of the pattern in Lyn Morton's book Tatting Patterns on page 52. But instead of making a collar I decided to go with a square which will be framed. It is tatted in shades of green. You may only see one green on your monitor but the other three are shades of moss green. I posted the motif last week with larger picots here. Done in thread size 40 and it measures about 6 inches square.
I have been waiting to see this! It looks amazing and I am so impressed that you used the motif and made the square.
ReplyDeleteWhat threads did you use? The colours really work well.
BTW - the Caron thread is fantastic! I will post the Stumpy bookmark soon...

Looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteI see the colors very distinctly, and I think they're gorgeous! I love the way you've put them together. It makes for a very interesting study in color.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual and really pretty, and the colours seem to work really well!
ReplyDeleteI can see all the colors too, even on this tiny monitor screen! Looks intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know you can see all the shades of green. I was inspired by the colours at the shop. I loved the greens and could not decide which shade to buy so I decided to get a few which would go together. When I was browsing through patterns to tat, I thought this would be the perfect pattern. The threads are Olympus Cordonnet Special.
