Hearts and Flowers
Tatted in Size 40 threads. I was attracted to this pattern by the hearts. Pattern is by Lyn Morton in her book Tatting Patterns on page 100. I did not see the flowers until much later. It looks good in a single colour too, as shown in the book. What colour would you do this in?
very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI think I would try a variegated purple
Oh, it is so simple, but pretty and bright! )

Very pretty motif!! I really like the red and white combination!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shape! I recently saw a piece on another blog that was tatted in Lizbeth Sherbet. The variegated colors in it reminded me of pansies.
ReplyDeleteI can easily imagine this pattern being used for wedding tatting.
Your red and white motif is so pretty! Wouldn't this be lovely with in pink dogwood colors?

I think I've only tatted it in a variegated but this is very striking. I love seeing how everyone tats the same pattern differently.
ReplyDeleteI have only done this in one variegated thread. This is a great way to tat it!
