Hearts and Flowers

Tatted in Size 40 threads. I was attracted to this pattern by the hearts. Pattern is by Lyn Morton in her book Tatting Patterns on page 100. I did not see the flowers until much later. It looks good in a single colour too, as shown in the book. What colour would you do this in?

  4. What a lovely shape! I recently saw a piece on another blog that was tatted in Lizbeth Sherbet. The variegated colors in it reminded me of pansies.

I can easily imagine this pattern being used for wedding tatting.

  5. Your red and white motif is so pretty! Wouldn't this be lovely with in pink dogwood colors?

  6. I think I've only tatted it in a variegated but this is very striking. I love seeing how everyone tats the same pattern differently.
