Tatted cross bookmark

I made this cross from a pattern shared by Elizabeth on her blog . Some Delica beads were added to the picots. I made one cross slightly larger than the other. This was made as a gift for a very nice, patient and helpful lady, Ruby F. It was tatted with DMC Cebelia cotton thread Size 30 in light grey (#3756).

  1. This is really quite nice. Looked like metal at first!

  3. It looks great, I like the split rings between the 2 crosses. I'm going to find this pattern right now.

  4. Very pretty! The blue is a nice light color. I still have the cross bookmark you gave me on it's card. I love the way you display your tatting! I may start doing that when I do exchanges! It's a fabulous idea and I have TONS of paper and ribbons and punches (corner punches, too) to make pretty cards like you do! :)

  7. Thank you all for your lovely comments. Please do try the pattern from Elizabeth. Pretty packaging is always nice for the recipient. I received a bracelet packaged this way and learnt from there. I must admit I was in a hurry so I used a stapler. Should have used a ribbon to tie instead.
