Snowflake Motif

This looks fine but it wasn't much fun to tat. Too fiddly for my liking. I had more leftover thread in my shuttle so this is done in Lizbeth size 80 #701 English rose dark. Pattern is found in Aunt Ellen's Treasury - Tatting Patterns on page 46.

I have also found the next pattern for tatting in this book. That will be in the next post.

  4. Does not look as if it were fiddly.

  5. Looks great, but I can see those tiny rings would be a pain to tat.

  6. It looks great, even up close. I can imagine a nice mat or a table runner from rows of these.

  10. It looks Gorgeous ! Only since you mentioned, I noticed how it could be fiddly with all those long strings and small rings. But the curves are amazing.

  11. On the internet I can see a photo of the cover of the book, and it looks like this is the motif that is repeated to make up the table mat. A beautiful design, as a single motif or joined together with others.

I'm always impressed when you use size 80 thread. Perfect tatting as usual! And I love the color.
