This looks fine but it wasn't much fun to tat. Too fiddly for my liking. I had more leftover thread in my shuttle so this is done in Lizbeth size 80 #701 English rose dark. Pattern is found in Aunt Ellen's Treasury - Tatting Patterns on page 46.
I have also found the next pattern for tatting in this book. That will be in the next post.
Das ist ein tolles Motiv! Gefällt mir sehr gut!
ReplyDeleteIt is very beautiful and to the eye looks worth the troube :)
ReplyDeleteThe snowflake looks really nice, I like the circle effect it creates.
ReplyDeleteDoes not look as if it were fiddly.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, but I can see those tiny rings would be a pain to tat.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, even up close. I can imagine a nice mat or a table runner from rows of these.
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome!!!!(even if it is fiddly)! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's Beautiful !!!
ReplyDeleteLooks very pretty, lovely colour, looks a bit fiddly, but it looks very nice piece of tatting
ReplyDeleteMargaret
Wow, that is a nice one! Great color as well.
ReplyDeleteIt looks Gorgeous ! Only since you mentioned, I noticed how it could be fiddly with all those long strings and small rings. But the curves are amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt"s marvellous
ReplyDeletebeautiful
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteOn the internet I can see a photo of the cover of the book, and it looks like this is the motif that is repeated to make up the table mat. A beautiful design, as a single motif or joined together with others.
ReplyDeleteI'm always impressed when you use size 80 thread. Perfect tatting as usual! And I love the color.
