This was an interesting pattern. During rounds 2 and 3, it seemed like there were too many stitches but in round 4, it all worked out and the design element was revealed.
I was too eager to finish this daisy that I forgot the last chain. Then I realised that my daisy had 13 petals instead of 12. Where did I go wrong? So it is back to the beginning.
My favourite trick! : ))
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteNice design, where does it come from?
ReplyDeletesome people call it the "bakers dozen" one too many but very beautiful anyway!
ReplyDeleteI have tatted too many repeats so many times, and I'm never sure how or why it happened. I think your 13 petal daisy is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteNot every flower has a set amount of petals, sometimes one will have an extra petal, so why worry it's got a bakers dozen instead of an even number. Looks lovely even if it does have an extra petal

The perfect count for a favourable response to "s/he loves me, s/he loves me not, .... " !!!
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't told us, we wouldn't even have noticed, let alone count ;-P
It's lovely. Is it going to join onto something else?
ReplyDeleteI think I commented on the wrong post here! I like your corrected piece much better. Also, I know I owe you an email! It's coming soon... : ))
ReplyDeleteNo.... I guess I meant the trick of adding an extra bit where it wasn't needed. Obscure thought..l : )
