Pomelo Fruits

I posted mooncakes and tea last year around the mid-autumn festival here. This year, I totally missed it but I did buy some pomelos. I hate peeling them but they taste refreshing when served cold. It is like a huge mandarin orange. Pomelos are usually eaten during the mid-autumn festival. I just made a drink with iced tea, honey, mint and pieces of pomelo. I will also have it in my weekly salads. This is the pink variety. Pomelos sold here are mainly imported from Malaysia, Thailand and China.

  2. I wonder what they taste like. I've never heard of them before until your post! They look like citrus.

I like most all the exotic fruits I've tried, so I would probably like that... and your drink sounds soooo yummy

  5. I think the pomelo tastes better than a grapefruit. It has a distinct fragrance and yes it is from the citrus family.
