Butterfly for a Necklace

I bought Gutermann Sulky Cotton 12 Col. 4006 to try. It is a variegated thread in autumn colours. Wanted to give the butterfly a tailed wing - two-tailed swallowtail. Added some Bronze Delica beads. Necklace is ready in my Etsy shop here. These earrings were made to match. Which pair do you think is more suited for the necklace?

  2. I prefer the set in the 2nd photo - both are lovely, but I do like the second set.

  4. Your work is absolutely gorgeous. I've done some tatting, but never thought it could be so beautiful. What book/pattern are you using?

  5. Thank you for your comments. I'm also thinking of the 2nd pair.

The tatting in this necklace is very simple so there is no pattern that I follow. But for other tatting projects I do love Mary Konior's patterns.

  6. Love those earrings!!!

The butterfly is very intriguing, almost vintage-like (well, I think so)
