Herford with Horstmar
You saw Hortsmar in Size 80 earlier. I tatted it in Lizbeth #655 Wedgewood light. Added Herford tatted in #106 Spring Fling. Both patterns by Adelheid Dangela from her book Occhi-Patchwork. Lots of negative spaces. In the book another round is added. Perhaps I will do it much later when I have the right colour thread. My Lizbeth thread stash of Size 80 is limited. I need Raspberry pink medium #624 or Wedgewood dark #656.

So pretty! Beautiful tatting. I would have sent you the #80, if i had it, but alas it is not in my stash either!
ReplyDeleteI am very tempted to order that book. - just what I NEED!
Thank you, Fox. I will get them in my next order. Get this book. I prefer it to the second book.
DeleteWow, stunning.
ReplyDeleteThat's just lovely! Did you block it or did it just come out perfect?
ReplyDeleteHi Marty,
DeleteYes, I did block it. The chains would not behave otherwise.
That is a truly awesome design!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is very beautiful and l too love size 80, it is so lacy!
ReplyDeleteSuch long chains in size 80 ?! Phew !
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how beautifully - evenly & neatly - it has all been tatted ... the stars form a perfect circle too !
Perfect :-)))
Thank you, Muskaan. The stars actually look more like flowers in the book. I'm afraid I overdid it during blocking.
DeleteThank you Jane, God's Kid and Madtatter80. Might be too much negative spaces for some. The next round should balance it out.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
