This time the pattern is by Jan Stawasz in his book Tatted Treasures on page 29. First pattern to be tatted from this book. Done in Lizbeth Size 80 in Wedgewood Lt (#655). The whole flower pot measures about 4 by 3 inches only. Perfect for a card or a small frame.
What's next?
That's great!

You flower pot is beautiful, I really enjoyed this tat along just as much as the other one, we both have a beautiful piece of tatting for framing or using on a card.

What a beautiful tatted design!! :) You did a wonderful job on that!! :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower pot. One of my favorite patterns from one of my favorite books. I framed mine and hung it on the wall.
ReplyDeleteHow dainty and beautiful, the lucky person who receives this piece of tatting on a card.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an attractive design, and beautifully tatted! You and Margaret seemed to have tatted it rather quickly! I'm getting the impression that Jan's patterns are not as difficult to follow if you understand that his system is really front side/back side tatting. I'm glad that tatters are becoming more aware of his work.
ReplyDeleteWow Wendy!! That is absolutely gorgeous. I can picture it on a CQ project . . . any chance you'd be willing to sell it?

Grovenore, I sent you an email.
ReplyDeleteI looked closely at the picture... you did it with traditional tatting, didn't you? It looks great. I have yet to try and see whether I want to deal with FS/BS and switching shuttles.
ReplyDeleteHey Grace, welcome!
