Hoop-la Hanky Edging 2012 - 2 (MK#56)
This edging pattern is called Hoop-la from Mary Konior. I usually prefer to tat the edging onto the hanky as I am tatting but for this pattern, it was not easy to do. So this was sewn in after tatting was completed. Tatted in Milford Size 40 in white.
Beautiful!

That's a gorgeous hanky. I love the edging! Just gone to get my book to have a look at it... might be my next project.
ReplyDeleteVery, very elegant!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe white on white/ecru is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty when complete! This is the one I began for the dollar store hanky in pale blue, and it was so pretty that I kept the little remnant, as I might like to try it again sometime. It is a lot of work, though! You completed yours very quickly I think.
ReplyDeleteIt does look wonderful in white. Very pristine. Nice tatting umintsuru.!

Truly lovely.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have only one book of Mary's - the Visual Patterns - so this must be in another book. It is so attractve!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how you're doing all these projects so quicI feel more comfortable tatting an edging separately and sewing it on later. it has the advantage of being removable if something happens to the hanky.
kly! And how wonderful that Iris complimented you on your work on your last edging!
This is beautiful!
